The selection of a tutor/educator is a very important decision, one that should be made with great care. The children are what matter--always.

Early in my career, I worked in a day care facility, and then later taught from sixth grade to high school seniors in the areas of English, science, math, and social studies in many different types of schools. I also tutored in some of my students' homes, interacting with their young brothers and sisters with ease. The dynamics of families other than mine became a great interest to me, one I still write about in my books.

My career efforts have always been geared toward helping to foster and maintain the innocence of children, within the classroom setting, the home setting, or through pictures and the written word. I do not believe that there are bad children--only bad role-models. I hope you will allow me to prove to you that we all, large or small, contain greatness, no matter how hidden from view our talents might sometimes be. A good teacher strives to bring out the best in each pupil. Seeking those truths--while helping to maintain the innocence about each child--helps me to also recognize my own truth.
