I have studied both violin and cello for 10 and 8 years, respectively. I am currently a freshman, studying music education at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. I am teaching beginner cello lessons while at school and observing both private and group lessons on violin and cello for several hours each week. I have extensive performance experience, both in ensembles and solo. Many of my performance experiences have included leadership positions, including concertmaster of my youth orchestra and high school orchestra and founding member of a for-hire string quartet. I also have some piano experience, but not extensive enough to teach past basic keyboard skills. I am happy to teach children of any age and skill level while I am home for the summer.
