I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French. I have studied French for four years in high school and four years at the university level which included a five week study abroad program in Lyon, France. For the 2010 - 2011 school year I taught English in France at the primary school level. My students were three to 11 years old and I voluntarily began an after school program for English games, conversations and songs. I also tutored a high school student in English while I was living in France. I worked as a substitute teacher during the 2011-2012 school year for grades K-12 in Cincinnati, Ohio. During this time, I tutored a senior high school student in French.

Speaking, reading and writing in French is a passion of mine and I always look forward to sharing it with others. I am able to enrich lessons taught in school or create lessons for students who do not have a second language option in school. I like to focus on pronunciation, vocabulary and conversation along with school assignments and lessons. I have many resources I like use for my students such as French verb and grammar books.

Some of the things I enjoy are hiking, biking, sewing, crafting, cooking, baking, enjoying the outdoors, walking my dog, and jewelry making.
