I am a biologist and microbiologist, reputable for excellent teaching skills in the biological sciences with scientific research thesis experience. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I have been an instructor in several reputable South Florida and Houston universities and colleges, where I have applied my ample teaching skills while continued my love for learning. I have taught a variety of courses such as general biology, general microbiology, anatomy and physiology, environmental sciences, food and water microbiology, industrial microbiology, microbial ecology and diversity, mycology, and microbiological quality control. In addition, I am certified as a distance (online) educator and I taught an online microbiology course. I have also published a scientific research paper in a professional scientific journal, and I have been a tutor and a research assistant in several projects as part of my undergraduate and graduate education. I am highly motivated and committed to excellence in education and scientific research and I possess strong, proven organizational and time management skills.
