I firmly believe that science can be easy if it is taught right. When we're kids, we love animals, dinosaurs, space, volcanoes... but somewhere along the line, for some of us, that thirst for knowledge goes away. I don't know if we decide that science is boring, or irrelevant, or hard, but a lot of kids give up on their astronaut dream too early. For me, learning has always been exciting. I hope to pass on that enthusiasm.

Focus: Math, reading, general science, biological sciences

Previous experience includes:
Two years as a teachers assistant in Photography at a University
Three years at the a Research Institute, administering school surveys and computer programs designed to prevent tobacco use in a classroom environment.
Two years at a University's Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) for Talented and Gifted Youth as an overnight camp counselor. Responsibilities: Coordinating educational activities, providing out of class educational assistance on homework, emotional support, designing educational activities, general guidance, working with ADD, ADHD, Autistic, and Aspergian children.
Statistics tutor- 6 months
Rising Stars Youth Theater Workshop- Designed activities, directed the improv workshop
