Academic tutoring for children and adults with special needs. I have a Master's in Clinical Psychology and a Master's in Special Education. I have worked with children with special needs for the past 8+ years (including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, ADD/ADHD, Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, etc). My work focuses on individual training in what your child needs. I believe in breaking down academics so that each child understands what they are learning and not just memorizing. My focus has been with children in elementary level academics: math, language arts, writing, auditory processing, problem solving, etc. I work with parents to create goals that are achievable and appropriate. If you would like me to provide references I am able to do that as well. I can come to your home or we can work at the local library.
