I have taught both of my children how to read and write before they entered Pre-K. I am a substitute teacher for grades K - 12 in my township's school district. I tutor students in grades K - 12 in all subjects. I enjoy helping students realize and achieve their potential, understand their classwork material and homework, prepare for classroom participation, quizzes and tests. I show them how to develop good communication skills with their teachers. Through guidance and consistent practice my students can develop new habits and skills and become more responsible to complete their assignments independently.

I teach study skills and test prep, time management, organizational skills, assignment planning and goal setting. I tutor students who need to strengthen their reading comprehension and writing skills. I tutor students to prepare for the NJ ASK Tests.

I enjoy working with students of all ages (pre-k, elementary, preteen, adolescent and young adult). I use positive reinforcement and creative methods to develop their interest in learning and self-discipline.
