I have over nine years of experience teaching and tutoring children in all elementary subjects and specializing in math for higher grades. My previous experience includes being a lead home school teacher, private math teacher, and tutor.

I am knowledgeable in the field of child development and psychology, and currently working towards a degree in kindergarten to 12th grade special education. In general, children are my joy and passion. I actively engage the child's full being. I believe strongly in discovering all the treasures placed inside of everybody. Every child has a lot of potential inside and they just need a little help showing how to unpack it. I observe each child to find how they learn and adapt my teaching to fit it. I enjoy finding a way for a child to learn something they and/or others thought they couldn't. I don't just enable the children with answers to the current problems but rather I focus on teaching them how to think, building competence and self-confidence at the same time. I specialize in catching up students that are behind. I am specifically geared towards children with special needs. It just comes naturally. I have worked with children who are on the autism spectrum, ADHD, oral processing disorder, severe dyslexia, learning disabled, as well as gifted. I am most noted for being a calming presence. I am extremely patient and loving, honest, dependable and trustworthy.
