Since high school I have occasionally worked as a tutor for local junior high school students and have also worked as a peer tutor in both high school and college.

-2007 to Present: Substitute teacher within the Orleans Central Supervisory Union. Have worked in K-12th grade classrooms, with extensive experiences in Special Education and working one on one.
-2008 to 2010: Worked as a peer tutor in writing and psychology, as well as a volunteer tutor for Burlington area refugee students.
-2011: Developed a 16 week tutor plan focused on improving reading and comprehension skills for a second grade student.

Having taken courses in teaching, reading, writing, math, science and curriculum development in college, I am confident in my abilities to tutor in all subjects for students grades K-8, and writing, English, and mathematics for students grades 9-12.
