I am a PhD student, completing a degree in Clinical Psychology. I am a mother of 11 children and a grandmother of eight children (to date). I have had almost 40 years experience caring for children, as a babysitter, mother, grandmother, a church nursery worker, and child care provider.

I care for children as if they were my own, providing age appropriate boundaries, instruction, and activities. To insure adequate and proper attention for each child, I have the help of several of my own children (adults and one teen). We follow a daily schedule, with enough flexibility to meed the fluctuating needs of growing and developing children.

Childcare is provided in my home; I accept a small number of children so as to provide the best care possible.

Additionally, I have been a home educator for 26 years. I have taught every subject on every level from K-12. I have also taught children, youth, and adults in the classroom, and have conducted teacher training classes. In addition to teaching academic courses, I have provided instruction for non-academic workshops and seminars.

I enjoy teaching, and I especially enjoy helping those who struggle to overcome their challenges. I believe everyone is a "genius", he or she just needs to be taught "the right way" with teaching methods complimentary to his or her learning abilities.
