In 2010, I received a Bachelors of Arts degree from Sacred Heart University in General Studies, with Concentration in Social Sciences, and over 34 credits in Social Work and Psychology. I am compassionate, patient, easy to talk too, outgoing individual, and understanding to children's needs. I have verbal, writing, organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills, and certified in Microsoft Office. I have a strong work ethic, I am professional, and have a passion for working with children.
While attending high school and college I obtained eight years of experience working for a highly reputable non-profit organization in Connecticut, and was granted a promotion for taking the initiative and lead in that fast-paced and demanding environment. As you will see on my r sum , I successfully oversaw the safety of 45 children or more, assistance with homework help, a calm and positive attitude, and handling confidential information on a daily basis. In addition, I have many years of experience with children who have autism, epilepsy, ADD, and other special needs. Currently, I am volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, and at fundraisers in NYC.
