I have been teaching children with special needs including those under the Autism Spectrum for over 20 years. I have worked both in a demanding environment in public school systems and homes focusing on a wide variety of students' unique learning and emotional needs. My special education classrooms were designed by me to raise all students' levels of independence, communication/behavior and academic skills. I am a dedicated special educator and mother. I have made it my professional goal to teach and assist children and their families needing more than the average amount of support.
