In 1980, I developed the LTA2 Learning System for my eldest daughter who was not understanding what she was reading. Since then I have used it for hundreds and hundreds of people of all ages.

I have a B. S. degree in Education from Ohio State, and I am a born again Christian who understands that all I possess regarding learning and the brain comes from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and not from my college degree.

I teach how to learn, how to remember for the long-term, how to study, how to take notes/tests, how to be organized, how to read using phonics, how to learn math using math concepts, how to identify/solve dyslexia and ADD/ADHD, and how to fill "potholes" (i. e. previously unlearned material which prohibits future learning).

I have consulted, instructed, and home schooled other people's children throughout the past 33 years.

I have a passion for solving the academic problems of otherwise bright children. I understand that each person is very different; therefore, every learner must be treated in a non-standardized manner without using standardized material.

In my work as a learning specialist/consultant, I have found that many students have been mislabeled and/or medicated due to a lack of understanding of the true situation for that person. It is my goal to seek to actually SOLVE the student's learning issues instead of labeling them and asking him/her to live with them.

I have always worked outside the school systems, but often my work has been in conjunction with several of the local schools.

There are four location options which I offer for students: (1) at my location; (2) at a library (3) on Skype; or (4) at your location. I very much prefer my location since my materials are located there, also.
