For the past four years I have been tutoring a variety of students, in a variety of subjects. My interests range from ancient to modern and cover everything between physics and philosophy. In particular, I enjoy the process of working with different students, on a myriad of subjects, as it is more rewarding than teaching in a couple of ways. First off, there is the variegated expertise that is required to be able to shift from one subject to the next within an hour(or a session). Secondly, not only does each student learn in his or her own unique manner, a student also achieves and succeeds in his or her own particular fashion. Granted, the end result is often the same for every student that I work with; however, the individual journey from lack of understanding to comprehension and finally to increased grade levels and scores on tests, is what makes the job worth it to me. I look forward to working with anyone who is willing to reach that level beyond just simple comprehension of the subject at hand.
