I have done after-school care helping first through fourth graders with their English, language arts, spelling, reading and math. I also tutor Portuguese speaking adults English in the evening. I have also worked with students tutoring them in science projects in their home, as needed. I have been working with a tutoring company for the past 18 months, mostly with La Yes program students, in their school settings or private homes, one to two hours per session, working with the teacher and/or parents. I am a very patient and understanding person. I have numerous references from parents with whom I have worked and wherein their child excelled in their failing academic class.
