I have experience tutoring elementary children with reading and general studies. I had the opportunity to work with kindergartner's, 1st, 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 4Th grade, 6th, 7th and 8th grade classes. I have sat with children and helped with reading and any subject that required extra attention. I home schooled my son 2nd and 3rd grade, 5Th, 10Th and 11Th grade, I'm happy to say he has just about completed his 4th year at SJSU. On occasion I still help him with his studies. I tutored a middle aged student this year who has ADHD as well. I have volunteered at libraries as well being a reading mentor. I am available M, Tu, Wed, Th, I am able to work 4-8 p.m. I have tutored special needs children with OCD, and children with Autism. I have a passion for helping children since my son was diagnosed with OCD, and a generalized anxiety disorder. I realize the patience and care that it requires to help little people. I love being around children. I am currently working at a Toy store as a Manager. I see children everyday. My job is never boring. I was also a caregiver for my father for 5 years. I administered his medications I bathed him changed his clothes, I prepared his meals for him. I took him to his medial appointments and I was his companion for company before he passed away.
