I am a kindergarten teacher, new to Maryland. I have teaching certificates in Illinois and Pennsylvania. I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and am currently working on post-graduate studies. I am looking to tutor early-childhood aged students outside the classroom. I am available to tutor early-childhood and elementary-aged students in basic subjects. I have in-classroom experience in preschool through third grade. In college I tutored elementary-aged students as well as college students, volunteering and employed in my college's tutoring center. I am available weeknights and weekends, and am willing to meet in a student's home or at a local setting (such as a local library), or online. I am also available to proof-read/edit papers and homework. I enjoy working to find the best way to help an individual learn, and would love to meet with you to find the best methods to help a struggling student succeed or help an "average" student get ahead. I have experience with children with special needs.
