I have taken private piano lessons from ages 6 to 14. During my Junior and Senior years of high school, I was asked by my school's esteemed choral and musical director to be his T. A., and taught half of the choir. I have also run musical rehearsals at the high school, ranging from working one-on-one with students to learn their music, as well as entire ensembles. Last year I directed a short performance of "The Lion King" at my college and had to teach college students how to dance and act, as well as being responsible for directing the band and arranging all music. I have volunteered to accompany several friends during their senior solos at the high school and was hired to play during an alumni event at a fraternity at my college last year.
