While I have never been paid to tutor, I have helped several of my friends (and their siblings) as well as my own siblings when they became stuck and needed help in particular classes. I find it a welcome challenge in approaching problems from different angles and I know that not everyone learns the same way. That is why I like to teach children. It gives me an opportunity to help them while simultaneously challenging myself to come up with creative ways of doing so.
