I have worked as an Instructional Assistant in California public elementary schools for over 10 years. In the past, I have worked as a Reading Specialist, Math Coach, and as a tutor in an ESL program. I have experience working in all elementary school subject areas, and seem to have good success in helping students grasp math concepts that they have struggled with in the past. I currently work at a local elementary school as an Instructional Assistant in the Special Education program, so, I am experienced in helping students with ADHD and other learning disabilities in all subject areas. I am very patient and capable of introducing concepts in creative ways to help each individual learn in a manner which works for them. I am used to working with students who have given up on themselves, and can help them make progress and gain the confidence they need to succeed.
