I am originally from Mt. Pleasant, SC, and moved to the Moncks Corner/Goose Creek area to be closer to my job. I teach 3rd grade at a school in Berkeley County and this is my fifth year teaching. I have taught grades 3-5. I recently completed my Masters Degree at The Citadel, so I now have more time to spend with my three dogs! I play piano and guitar and also sing, and I love to spend time with friends, going shopping, watching football, and going out on the boat.

As a teacher, I have had a lot of experience with children with special needs and learning disabilities, as well as with students who may just need that extra help with concepts or motivation. I love watching children learn and seeing the look on their face when everything finally "clicks!" I have tutored both for companies and privately in family homes. I've worked to help students with specific things they are working on in school as well as company lesson plans. I am really looking forward to working with families and helping children succeed!
