I am a recent graduate of Emory & Henry College, where I received my M. A. in education and my B. A. in history and geography. I have three years of experience in tutoring college -level, high school, and middle school students in social studies as well as English. My professional training has taught me how to understand children's different learning needs and how to find creative ways to guide them through the learning process. Most of my experience is in improving children's reading comprehension and essay writing. I had two semesters of practicum/student teaching, in which I was able to lead my own classroom and teach my own lessons. From those experiences, I've learned how to work with children in groups as wells as one-on-one.

Teaching is my passion, and I'm completely confident in your child's ability to learn. We just need to find the right way to teach them.
