I am warm, friendly, and college educated. I am medic First Aid and CPR certified, in addition to having over 10 years of child care and education experience. I have tutored students in many subjects including English (reading/writing), Math, Science, and standardized test prep. My professional expertise is research immunology (peer reviewed publications available upon request) but I am also a lifelong violin player and artist, and love learning, outdoor activities, and cooking! I believe every student learns differently. I work with my students to understand their strengths and weaknesses and work with parents and students to develop a customized approach based on individual concerns and needs.

I began working with children in high school as a camp counselor and gymnastics teacher for children ages 3-10. In college I taught violin lessons as well as provided individual child care and tutoring for children ages 6-12. Since college, I have had regular part-time nannying jobs, as well as babysitting as needed for children ages newborn-12, in families with twin infants and multiple children (up to 4) and tutored children from ages 6-15.
