Two summers ago, I worked for a non-profit organization with children to improve their reading proficiency. I spent two years as a mentor in the Big Brothers/ Big Sisters program at my high school until the program was cancelled. I am also bilingual and love to teach kids Spanish. I have also taken classes in French and Chinese, so if they are interested I could teach them a little of other languages too. I have basic knowledge for playing guitar, piano and writing music.
I have 1 year of paid experience because most of my experience has been through service/volunteer programs. The only paid tutoring was through my internship at the non-profit organization.
