I have worked with students throughout my college career. By majoring in Human Development, specializing in childhood and adolescence, my main goal was always to teach. I have served as a student volunteer in kindergarten, co-taught sixth grade for a month in Malawi, Africa, been a second grade camp counselor as well as an orientation leader for incoming college students. Most recently this past semester, I was tutoring student athletes once a week at Virginia Tech in Science, Human Development and Psychology classes.

Thanks to my experiences inside and out of the classroom, I am comfortable teaching students and getting them excited about learning! I have developed techniques and strategies to creatively relay knowledge to individuals. I feel confident I can help anyone!
