I was a part-time Writing Tutor at a community college and full-time high school teacher in New Jersey. I moved to LA for the weather and to finish graduate school on a part-time basis. In order to pay the rent, I have been privately tutoring several westside clients.

My clients and services range from helping a fifth grader organize and create big projects 2-3x/week to working with a female student in eighth grade who has trouble focusing in school and keeping her notebook and homework assignments organized. Most of the time, I address work habits and study skills at the beginning of our sessions before turning to the evening's homework assignments.

I also tutor high school students who are mostly looking for help with college and test preparation. I tutor the Verbal portion of the SAT and any AP subjects in English or Social Studies Departments. I also work with a Psychology Major at UCLA who meets with me for advice and for proofreading his essays and term papers.
