While in college, I worked for Educational Advancement Academy tutoring elementary through college students in study skills, history, and language arts. I was also a tutor at Central Washington University. I have also worked in the classroom for second, fourth, fifth, and eighth grade students as a tutor and teacher's aide. I am currently a PhD student in history at the University of Washington working on my dissertation, so I have a very flexible schedule. I currently work as a teaching assistant at the UW. My prior experience and coursework give me a strong grounding in English or History, but I also have training to teach students how to study and organize their lives to be more efficient students, particularly those students with learning disabilities.
