I am an experienced, patient, and friendly tutor who is available to teach ESL to both children and adults. I am also available for academic tutoring for elementary, middle school, and high school students.

My academic tutoring experience includes tutoring elementary school students in reading, writing, and math as part of the Role Models Program. I also tutored high school students in English and Spanish as part of the National Honor Society.

I received a TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) certificate in June 2009 from the Boston Academy of English. As part of that training, I led a series of English immersion classes for adults from a variety of native language backgrounds.

While living abroad in New Zealand, I volunteered as an ESL/academic tutor for students who were refugees from Somalia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. I helped many of the students to refine their essay writing skills. I have also worked as a paid private tutor for children and adult ESL learners.

I love to teach and I'm happy to help students of all ages.

I am currently only able to accept clients who live within 20 minutes walking distance of the Tufts University/Davis Square area or are accessible via public transportation.
