I began tutoring elementary-age children and remedial English college students while an undergraduate student. While my B.A. degree is in Journalism, I have always been passionate about teaching and believe that children are capable of learning what we are willing to teach them. I have been employed with the School District as a substitute teacher for 10 years, and with a Substitute Teaching Program since 2007. I am employed as a supervisor with a private pre-K program, where I previously worked as a supply substitute teacher and Extended Enrichment Program teacher. I also currently tutor a third grade ESOL student in reading.
