I have a lot of experience teaching children ages 2-16. I began my experience in my high school Child Development class where a class of 15 students, we successfully ran an on-campus preschool. We developed the lesson plans to teach the youngsters the alphabet, numbers, and social and motor skills. I learned many valuable skills crucial to education. I then interned with a first grade teacher where I helped with planning engaging activities and tutored math. I taught religious education for 3 years, was an English tutor for elementary school, and I am currently an science educator at the zoo. I have many great tricks for learning and remembering! This has all been volunteer work.
