I am skilled in knowledge and experience with grades K-6. I have tutored and worked in small group instruction with Pre-Kindergarten through fourth grade. I design and teach lessons, games, and activities that are age appropriate as well as developmentally appropriate. I prepare lessons that are aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. I assist students with homework and organizational skills to increase their academic and life success. I use a variety of methods including visual aids, hands-on-activities, and more. I assess students' progress through personal portfolios. I continue to learn so I may tailor to individual student needs. My goal is to see growth.
