I am currently working with the Rutherford School District as a basic skills teacher and I also tutor K-5 students at a learning center in Rutherford, New Jersey. Prior to this position, I was a long term substitute in third grade and an instructional aide with the Ridgewood School District in a first grade classroom.

My classroom experiences range from first through fourth grade. I actively engage my students in many different subjects including reading, writing, phonics, mathematics, social studies, and science. I implement a variety of hands-on activities that promote critical thinking. I teach my lessons with an emphasis on real-life applications to generate the interest of the students and show relevance, utilizing a multisensory approach to promote an inclusive environment. Each of my classroom experiences have allowed me to become skilled at differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
