Believe it or not, I make Math fun! I know, that is a stretch, but if you hire me, you'll see. I carry this attitude with any subject I teach, even algebra and geometry! Education should be fun and I can always get some smiles and laughs out of my students! I also truly believe every student is smart and gifted, it just takes the right educator to help them see and believe it themselves.

I am a licensed Mathematics Teacher with a Master's in Education. I have five years experience tutoring high school students through a variety of venues. Last year, I tutored over 100 students for more than 1000 hours of tutoring. Before that I educated students in many places including local high schools, and during the summers.

Through this experience I learned that while I may have a gift at teaching in the traditional classroom setting, I did not feel like classroom teaching was for me. I would much rather continue to educate in a much smaller setting, through tutoring. I truly believe education is at its finest when done in such a setting. My desire to help students who were at risk of being left behind carried me on and motivated me to search for a more alternative way to follow my dream in an education career, and I believe this is it.

Luckily, I learned that tutoring is a growing business and it accomplishes exactly what I desire to do in the world: help students succeed in the often confusing and challenging world of school in a small and effective setting. What could be better? One on one tutoring helps me feel like a super hero by helping students who have difficulty achieving in school. Every time I see that light bulb turn on in the eyes of my students, I know I made the right decision.

I am always willing to be flexible with scheduling to suit the needs of my clients. I am also responsive to any budgetary concerns.
