Trying to find a reliable Nanny to care for my triplet girls
By Jennifer C. on Thu Jul 26, 2012 at 1:18 PM EDT
I seem to be having a difficult time finding reliable help these days. It seems that the girls that I have found as of recent to care for my girls start off at the gate running and are very excited with the job and with everything that they do at my home. However after about 3 weeks, it's not just that I see a gradual decline in their enthousiasm, it's like I see a balloon that was filled with air and someone has just let go of it and we are all watching it spin through the air out of control. It is almost weird and fantastic to see at the same time. My husband and I just shake our heads in amazement. I am a high school counselor and my husband a Mechanical Engineer, so with both of us we are not only educated, but our parents have instilled in us the ethic to WORK and work hard. We have been finding that the generation of today (and by that I mean the nannies in their early 20's) have no real work ethic over all. When something gets difficult or they have decided that they don't want to do it anymore, that generation quits or just gives 10% instead of 100% that they once did.

Does anyone else seem to find issues like this floating out there as well??
