Hello... I have a couple of questions. I am a single mom and I am planning on moving out of the area where my children (7 and 13) go to school. I can get my youngest to school because he starts well before I have to be to work, but the 13 year old doesn't start until 9 and I cannot make it to work until 9:30 if I have to drop him off. My ex lives in a neighborhood where my 13 year old can catch the bus, so it is possible for me to drop him at the bus stop at 8:40 on the days I have them. I have a WONDERFUL sitter that I found here on care last week. Her first day was today and she is amazing!
I travel for business and also occasionally need her over night. I am paying her $12 / hour for regular babysitting.

I have 2 questions...

1) What do others pay for overnight stays?
2) What would be fair to pay for her to pick up my 13 year old, drop him at school and then pick up my 7 year old and my 13 year old after school and bring them to my house? Mileage + hourly? The distance would be approximately 10 miles from where I am currently living.
