The Write One Tutoring Services
The Write One specializes in Reading, Language Arts/English, and Writing tutoring assistance for students in grades K-12 in the Atlanta metropolitan area. For 11th and 12th graders, The Write One also assists in helping students with writing college admissions essays. Tutoring sessions are held in the nearest public library to the student and flexible times are offered to accommodate busy schedules. Skype tutoring is also available. The Write One does not focus on 'homework help'; instead, aims to offer aid in problem areas students may have in order to help students succeed in their assignments in the future.
Areas of help include (but are not limited to): spelling, grammar, reading comprehension, sentence structure/style, and writing.
About the founder: After receiving both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English, LaKesha Rhodes has spent the last three years teaching English Composition at East Carolina University before relocating to Atlanta, where she continues to teach Composition at the college level. From her experiences with her students and her long-lasting love of English that prompted her to establish The Write One. Her goal is to show students, young and old, how reading and writing well can impact their success in all other areas.
In the words of Dr. Seuss, "The more you read, the more things you'll know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
When we do pre-screen, what do we look for?
During the pre-screening process our CareForce team:
- Verifies profile information for accuracy
- Cross checks the Better Business Bureau for accreditation and reputation ratings
- Conducts an online media search for negative, newsworthy incidents
- Performs an overall reputation check by reading a sample of online reviews
Please note that the CareForce pre-screening results do not reflect a care provider's licensing status. Learn more about licensing information for child care centers and in-home day cares
Information reviewed during the pre-screening process can change at any time. Accordingly, please make sure you perform your own research on the care providers you are considering and feel completely comfortable with the company or individual you have selected. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for selecting an appropriate care provider for you and your family.
