I cared for a special needs 13-year-old male with Down syndrome. I was an overnight care giver. I cooked, bathed, and did laundry for him and family. He was also on oxygen at night, which I had to check on him at varies times of night. He was not potty trained, but I was working on helping him be more dependent. I worked for the Dept. of Human Services with a gentlemen with Down Syndrome and Alzheimer's, he was 54 years of age. I bathed, cooked, laundry, dispense medication, groomed, changed depends, physical therapy exercise, keep patient and house very clean. Did grocery shopping, took patient on outings and activities.















yet at the same time treated him as an individual of respect.
