My name is Toni and I am a licensed Elementary teacher. I have been in the Public and Private school system for a total of 5 years. I have taught private preschool and I have taught 2nd and third grade for the last 3 years. I have had experience in Special Ed (ID) classrooms with children who have had severe Autism, Moderate/Severe mental and physical disabilities. I have assisted with tasks such as body rotating, tube feeding, assisted feeding, hygiene, assisted bathroom training, Physical/Occupational therapy techniques. Knowledge of behavior management, human motivation and systematic instruction; experience in direct services to children with intellectual and other disabilities and/or experience with vocational rehabilitation or habilitation preferred for children. Experience with students with serious social and family problems that affect education; provide referral services to clients whose social problems require a high level of skill and abilities in order to more effectively assess and meet the needs of the client; develop appropriate social service plans; gather, interpret and compile information; use an array of counseling and intervention techniques to assist the student; prepare narratives, court reports, home studies and social histories; willing/able to testify in court hearings; present cases to Child Support Team.
