I also worked with a young man with Parkinsons and Dementia for about 9 months. I drove him to therapy in NYC 3 days a week as well as shopping, going out to eat, and going to the movies. I helped him get dressed, take his meds, made sure he brought his keys and other stuff.
I am a Christian, and I enjoy giving back what has been given to me. I have the gift of mercy, and being a companion enables me to use that gift.
