I've enjoyed working with special needs children and adults for United Cerebral Palsy for 6 years. I enjoyed helping a child with their homework or assist with therapeutic exercise, outings to the park and interacting with other children. I've worked with a variety of special needs-mild to severe cerebral palsy, mild to moderate autism, down syndrome, children and adults with development disabilities seizure disorders. I took care of young boy (his sister) who had severe cerebral palsy for 10 years. I helped him to eat, did personal care, used sure hands lift, baths, worked overnight. I have clean background check and driving record. For recreation I enjoyed the outdoors, walks and hikes with friends, bike riding, nature walks and reading. I've enjoyed doing volunteer work as a tutor for 3 years as after school helper with elementary age students. I do enjoy learning and have had some training working with special needs children. I've taken 12 e. c. e. college credits. I'm interested in working in home or helping in a classroom for child with special needs.
