I am a mother of a special needs child and a LVN. My son is 7 years old and has multiple medical issues. On top of being a LVN and being trained to provide care for patients, my everyday mother duties include; respiratory care, feeding by bolus and pump, and medication administration. I have daily experience with in home medical equipment including; oxygen therapy, oximeters, nebulizers, feeding pumps, and mickey buttons maintenance. I have in the past been a teachers aide for special needs children with multiple mental and physical handy caps. I have experienced first had the difficulty in finding someone to care for my child. It is hard enough to find someone you can trust to watch your healthy child, let alone a child with special needs. I am looking for a unique situation that allows me to be available for my son while he is in school if he should need me. I am registered as In Home Health Services provider with a valid LVN license.
