I am a mother of 3 ready to resume employment in a capacity to enrich people's lives. My experiences are varied as I have a master's degree in speech-language pathology and have many years of experience working with individuals in both a rehabilitation setting and school settings. I believe all people are special and enjoy helping them reach their full potential.
I would enjoy a position in which I could facilitate independence and help an individual reach their full potential. That could be by working with communication skills, memory strategies, or integration with ADL's. I have worked with elementary students both as a speech therapist and as a volunteer with Science Olympiad and Community soccer. I have also been employed at the middle and high school level as a speech therapist. In my many years of rehabilitation I worked in both inpatient and outpatient with a team of doctors and therapists treating individuals of all ages.
