I have worked with infants and children for over 23 years as a babysitter, nanny and preschool teacher. I have designed a developmentally sound curriculum to enhance the social, physical, intellectual well being of the children. I have planned and implemented activities to a comfortable and secure atmosphere. I have my concerns with the total growth and needs of children/ involving social, emotional, intellectual, creative and physical behavior. I can prepare meals and serve nutritious snacks daily. I can plan and coordinate arrangements for field trips, coordinate the meeting or pick-up of children from bus stops and classrooms. I have been a Foster Parent for over 6 years and I have had lots of kids with special needs, one child had Down Syndrome. I worked and cared for him for 9 months. I was told, I have a great impact in caring for this child, by the child school and by the agency I work for. Also, I have worked with VIP Tot's in the past with special needs children. I also have a son with ADHD and Heart Disease, speech problems and learning disabilities. I have lots of patience when it comes to caring for children.
