I also assisted other counselors in my cabin. These children have varying degrees of cerebral palsy, and some are non-verbal. I also have experience with children who have autism spectrum disorders. I have helped with Christmas parties held at my church for special needs children. I also have some knowledge in Diabetes care, so if you need help with that, just tell me your test/treat schedule and procedure and I will be able to help out.(I have two friends with type one diabetes). I am passionate about special needs children because I feel that just because they are different doesn't make them damaged. I feel that there is a reason that these kids are here on earth, and we all have something to learn from them.
