I absolutely love working with children. I have a BAAS from UNT and am currently obtaining my alternative Teaching Certification. I am certified in General Early Childhood-6th grade, Special Education Early Childhood-12th grade, and ESL. I am CPR and First Aid certified and currently employed full time for BISD in resource/inclusion. I worked last school year in our medically fragile, special needs, elementary class. I also work, through BISD, as an in home trainer for children with Autism. I teach academics, life skills, and social skills. I have had a state background check and my fingerprints are on file in Austin as required for my position in BISD. I previously worked as a Medical Assistant and Sonogram Technician before making a career change into the Education Field in 2010. I have been married for 19 years and have a 15-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son. My daughter has ADD and Dyslexia, so I am also very familiar with these disabilities.
