I have a college degree in Special Education, majoring in Learning and Behavior Disorders. This summer I was the senior counselor for the summer camp. I taught special education in the County for 9 years and currently substitute on a part-time basis. I taught grades from 7 to 12 and did one year of GED teaching. I have tutored one teenager with high functioning autism. I used to take my students to volunteer at cat shows that I volunteered at. My middle school class put a pond in the courtyard of the school I was working with as a community volunteer. I love teaching but not the school system. I feel that seeing the students I worked with learn new things and enjoy school was a wonderful experience. I have some teaching materials that are good for elementary level on up. I love to do a variety of things including reading, playing with my cats, going to the zoo (I have a membership good for two people), going out to eat, swimming, walking, and playing games.
