Greetings to you and your family! I believe with my experience, love, passion and knowledge working with special needs kids, I can help to improve your child's daily life. In the past I have worked for a family who has twin boys, one which has CP. He is non ambulatory and non verbal so this would be the perfect job for me. Here's a little bio about myself. I am 36 years old and live in Brooklyn. I am from the islands of Trinidad and Tobago and have a great track record with kids for the past 18 years. I have gained much experience with infants, toddlers, Down Syndrome, hearing and visual impaired and kids with Autism. I have also been working with kids with Cerebral Palsy (wheelchair bound) some who are non verbal. I am a classical musician and use music as therapy for kids. I have a certificate in child psychology, CPR and also first aid certified. I believe I've got a God given gift to do such job which requires much patience, love and understanding. Most importantly, I have learned that every child and family is unique. I realized it is my job to learn what is important to you and your family so I can care for your children according to your rules, values and beliefs. I'm caring, fun, kind, energetic and thoughtful person who loves at the end of the day see our special children smile and play which only brings joy and happiness to us caregivers and parents. I will make sure your children not only have fun, but will be safe, nurtured while in my care. I am also able to provide your children with exciting educational outings based on their needs and interests. Sad to say the family who I worked for the last five years relocated to another state.
