I'm familiar with the stress caregivers are under and their need for time away in order to consistently provide the best care to their loved ones. It is no shame to require a step back, in fact it is very healthy for all of you!

But even more importantly, I'm aware of how much care and respect (without the 'talking down') is the right of every patient. To be a friend and/or companion, as well as a reliable caregiver.
