I have had 5 years experience teaching high school-age kids in varying levels of life skills programs, ranging from moderate to severe and profound needs, communication and behavior difficulties, life skills training, and vocational and recreational training. I sponsor a local chapter of a mentoring program. I am familiar with all ages, have past experience in childcare ages 0-10 years, and am one of eight children. I have a passion for working with children of any age and their families to help build skills. I am also familiar with augmentative communication devices, applied behavior analysis, and Boardmaker software. I am open to many options as far as care goes- community skills training, in home care, supporting behavior plans, etc.

I am a very reliable, yet flexible person! I am great at multitasking, and I believe my behavior management skills to be real strength of mine. I am a very loving, patient person, and I love to laugh and have fun. I look forward to building a special bond with you and your child.
