I have worked as a Childcare Owner, Provider, Teacher, Educational Assistant (Para-Educator) for over 10 years and I enjoyed everything about it. From playing, educating, and helping with homework to just watching the children grow and develop mentally and emotionally. I have since 2006 and still continue to volunteer for Tacoma Youth Sports as an assistant Cheer Coach.

Through my education, trainings, volunteering and past work experience I have held various positions involving children of all ages and ethnicities(which includes children who have special needs and/or behavioral issues) while interacting with families from a vast array of backgrounds. I have done this all while gaining skills in time management, patience, understanding, multi-tasking, and safe de-escalation techniques. With my communication skills I have achieved my own goal in building and maintaining, comfortable, safe, environments as well as positive relationships with parents and children. I am a team player, self - starter, detail oriented, and feel as if I work well under pressure.
